Primo and Epico re-packaged as "Los Matadores"

Post by Little Jimmy » Tue Aug 20, 2013 1:24 am

For anyone that may not have known, that's who that is. That should be interesting. I wonder if they will have like a mechanical bull at ringside and so forth, and use a red cape to infuriate their opponents. They should bring in a second team called "The Raging Bulls" to feud with.

I don't know how I feel about this. I love Primo and Epico, but this just seems weird.

Oh, and what ever happended to Hunico and Camacho?

Hunico got injured for a year and Camacho returned to NXT.
Because, well creative bookers can't allow Camacho to try and excel by himself or at least job to people to add variety to matches..

Primo and Epico, hopefully they keep their names.. Maybe they can tame Roman Reigns and his spear..

Maybe they will feud with the Real Americans?

I see them and The Real Americans feuding, Zeb even posted something on Twitter about them.

"Puerto Ricans speak Spanish right? So they can be matadores!"

"Vince, matadores are from Spain, Puerto Ricans only like to be Daddy Yankee."

"But they speak spanish?"

"Well, yeah..., but that doesn't mean that..."

"Matadores is it, then!"

"Still better than TNA I gues..."

They have masks on. So we're ASSUMING it's Puerto Ricans, but who really knows. Hell, El Generico was a luchador from Tijuana, Mexico and everyone KNOWS that was a bald-faced lie

People here in Puerto Rico are already talking about the gimmick being offensive. I don't mind at all. Matter of fact, it it was my choice (which it isn't), I'd take the gimmick down this path...

A large majority of fans still believe Yokozuna to be japanese. People believe Santino is Italian.

If the gimmick works, the gimmick works. Money is money.

FYI, that was a quote from now-SHINE Champion, Rain, in reference to Mercedes Martinez, who most assuredly cannot be trusted.

Not that you needed an explanation, of course.

It's pretty great trolling of the WWE to have a new, masked gimmick, with repeated yells of "OLE~", and it not be El Generico.

Do they ride on mechanical bulls screwed onto a flatbed truck? THAT is the question?
